About The Position

We are hiring a Dental Hygienist to join our dental office in Rochester, WA. This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, staying organized throughout the day, and being part of a smaller clinical team. The office uses Dentrix, and you will work alongside 1 Dentist, 1 Hygienist, and 2 Dental Assistants. Daily responsibilities include preventive care, x-rays, charting, and helping patients understand how to maintain better oral health between visits.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Dental Hygiene
• Active Washington Dental Hygienist license
• Ability to take radiographs in line with state requirements

Nice To Haves

• Dentrix experience preferred
• Previous dental office experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental cleanings and hygiene treatments
• Take dental x-rays as needed
• Review and update patient health histories
• Chart patient care and clinical notes in Dentrix
• Watch for signs of gum disease, decay, and other oral health concerns
• Educate patients on brushing, flossing, and home care
• Work with the dental team to keep the schedule moving smoothly
