About The Position
We are looking to add a Dental Hygienist to our Tacoma dental office. This full-time position involves preventive hygiene care, x-rays, patient charting in Dentrix, and ongoing patient education. You will be part of an office team made up of 1 Dentist, 1 Hygienist, and 2 Dental Assistants, so being dependable, organized, and comfortable working with others is important in this role. The right person will help keep the day running well while supporting a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Dental Hygiene
- Active Washington Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Dentrix preferred
- Previous dental office experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver preventive hygiene services and routine cleanings
- Take dental radiographs and assist with patient evaluations
- Chart care and clinical findings in Dentrix
- Review health histories and update patient records
- Watch for oral health concerns and communicate with the dentist
- Educate patients on daily oral hygiene and follow-up care
