About The Position

We are seeking a professional and courteous Dental Coordinator/Front Desk representative to greet and assist patients in a dental setting. You will manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and maintain an organized appointment calendar. The role involves collecting and verifying patient information, insurance details, and other confidential documentation. You will facilitate the patient check-in and check-out process efficiently and provide accurate information to patients regarding services, policies, and procedures. Collaboration with medical/dental staff to coordinate patient care and address inquiries is also a key aspect of the job.

Requirements

  • Experience in a dental setting.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to work onsite 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday – Friday.
  • Comfortable providing translation services in Spanish for patients and staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree or Business Institute Certificate.
  • At least two years of prior administrative/call center/customer service experience.
  • Experience with administration of electronic medical records (EMR) - EPIC.
  • Exposure/experience with medical terminology and provider billing practices.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations.
