White Marsh Family Dentistry is now seeking an experienced Part Time Dental Front Desk Coordinator in Baltimore, Maryland! As a Part Time Dental Front Desk Coordinator, come join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals. Part Time Dental Front Desk Coordinator Schedule 2 Days per week Monday and Wednesday 8:00am - 5:00pm, 1 hour lunch break Flexible to discuss days if needed This is a perfect opportunity for a great team member to supplement their work week with an additional day or for someone looking for work life balance while remaining in the dental industry that you love. The ideal candidate is cross trained as a Dental Assistant & Front Office. Must have MD Radiology license. Front office experience specific to AR, Insurance billing and claims processing knowledge a must. Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 2 or more years dental front office experience required
  • Cross trained as a Dental Assistant & Front Office. Must have MD Radiology license.
  • Front office experience specific to AR, Insurance billing and claims processing knowledge a must
  • Experience with insurance verification, payment posting, treatment preparation and presentation
  • Experience with dental practice software, Denticon preferred
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs
  • Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a team
  • Prolonged sitting and standing as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Must be familiar with HIPPA and OSHA Compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet patients for positive first impressions
  • Treatment coordinating and presentations to patients
  • Patient check in/out
  • Coordinating patient payments
  • Insurance verification
  • Answers incoming calls and managing voicemails
  • Scheduling and Confirm appointments
  • Treatment plan preparation and presentation
  • Confirming patient information and gathering needed patient documentation
  • Managing the flow of provider schedules
  • Patient & Partner Practice Communications
