Our ideal Pediatric Dental Assistant is warm and friendly to patients of all ages, is comfortable being shoulder-to-shoulder with doctors, and delivers exceptional chairside care for our pediatric patients. A day in the life of a Pediatric Dental Assistant Expose digital diagnostic X-Rays Record clinical findings and treatment information in patient records Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients. Clean teeth, using dental instruments including toothbrush and prophy cup Apply fluoride varnish, Sealants, and SDF Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs. Pour, trim, and polish study casts. Assist in consults and treatment of tongue and lip ties on infants and children Assist chairside with nitrous while utilizing behavior guidance techniques Assist chairside during IV Sedation Assist in the hospital for general anesthesia surgery cases Maintain a daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule Cement stainless steel crowns, and space maintainers Fill and finish restorations Competitive Salary & More Benefit options included, but are not limited to, health, vision, dental, life, 401K, and MORE! Responsibilities
