About The Position

Dental Assistant (DA) Batavia, IL James Garvin DDS is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties. We have a small team so each of us are cross-trained to help in every department. Lincoln St, Batavia, IL 60510 Schedule: Monday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Wednesday 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Compensation: $22-$28 per hour (Commensurate with Experience)

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• CPR certification
• Computer efficiency- charting and scheduling
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
• Integrity-focused work ethic
• Team-player attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray certification in the state of Illinois is preferred
• Coronal Polish/Sealant certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental care to patients
• Perform light administrative duties
• Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
