About The Position

We are looking for a full-time Dental Assistant (Expanded Functions strongly preferred!) who is an energetic team player and is cross trained for the front desk! We are an established private family practice located in beautiful Alabaster. We have an excellent team environment led by an amazing Doctor and our focus is our patients and our team! This role supports patient care by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials, welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients. The ideal candidate is adept at pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts and fabricating aesthetically pleasing temporary restorations. They will provide information to and educate patients by answering questions and requests, clean and polish removable appliances, and anticipate the doctor's needs in set-ups, suction, and the passing of instruments and materials. Documentation of dental care services by thorough charting in patient records and adeptness in Intra Oral photography are also key. Ensuring OSHA compliance with the sterilization of instruments, dental equipment, and treatment rooms is a must. The successful candidate will contribute to team effort with an engaging and positive disposition and be a DA looking to be part of a great team environment.

Requirements

Active CPR Certification
Available to work practice hours as needed Tuesday through Friday
Cross trained for front desk

Nice To Haves

Expanded Functions strongly preferred!
Eaglesoft experience is a plus
