About The Position

The Den attendant is responsible for operating the Club’s childcare area, called the den. This includes maintaining and cleaning the area and all of the toys and other equipment there, watching and interacting with small children, and greeting members as they drop off and pick up their children and completing some light clerical duties attached to that involving signing in and out and billing of services.

Requirements

Ability to interacting with young children in a childcare setting
Customer service skills
Patience and communication skills for young children
Organization and task management
High School diploma

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in daycares or other childcare facilities preferred

Responsibilities

Ensuring room is clean and presentable for children upon arrival
Greeting membership and family with a warm welcome
Signing member children in and out
Supervising small children in the restroom in case of accident (Den attendants do not change diapers)
End of shift cleaning (sanitize and replace toys in their labeled locations)
Leaving the room in the same clean and presentable manner upon departure
Contacting parents on site to report any problems or accidents
