About The Position

Demolition laborer will safely perform tasks involving and related to physical labor onsite for demolition construction projects Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers and rakes. Clean, remove and prepare materials used on site to eliminate possible hazards Control traffic passing near, in and around work zones; signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery, equipment and materials Observe and comply with all company and specific site safety procedures and project policies, and maintain the construction site in strict accordance with OSHA guidelines Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, including lifting, positioning, and securing materials during installation Responsible for care and custody of tools being used, including daily cleaning and maintenance Upload tools and equipment from trucks and load trash into vehicles and dumpsters to be hauled away. PM20

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Requires a clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years
  • At least 3 years of previous experience.
  • Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, and employer reference check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.
  • Normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or driving a video/GPS monitored vehicle.
