About The Position
Caring Senior Service of Temple is seeking a compassionate, experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a senior client with dementia.
Requirements
- Proven experience caring for clients with dementia (required)
- Strong understanding of dementia behaviors, redirection, and communication techniques
- Patience, empathy, and reliability
- Ability to provide personal care, companionship, and safety supervision
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Must pass background check
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
- Provide calm, supportive dementia-appropriate care
- Monitor safety and respond appropriately to behavioral changes
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support
