Exciting new position as a Dementia Caregiver HomeWell Care Services : Office 386-871-1975 MUST BE CAREING AND ABLET TO ENGAGE WITH CLIENTS FULL TIME / PART TIME / AND PRN HOURS AVAILABLE LOOKING FOR CAREGIVERS IN VOLUSIA / FLAGLER AND ST JOHN COUNTIES WE OFFER SEVERAL PROGRAMS TO OUR CLIENTS THAT FIT THEIR NEEDS Experience with Dementia +5 years Experience with ADL's and IADL's Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!! Requirements

  • MUST BE CAREING AND ABLET TO ENGAGE WITH CLIENTS
  • Experience with Dementia +5 years
  • Experience with ADL's and IADL's
  • Experience with lift to pivot stands and transfers are needed
  • RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!
  • Level II Background Screening is Required: More information can be found at the following link.

  • If you have a Level II background on file and your hired you will be added to our employment roster
  • No Level II background on file you will be required to obtain one with a provisional hire date.

Responsibilities

  • Travel throughout Volusia/ Flagler and St. John Counties
  • Need to adapt to different stages of Dementia
  • Visit every Dementia Caregiver 1-2 times per month
  • Provide support with activities and games assigned
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
