About The Position

As a Demand Planning Manager for Stanley 1913, you will be responsible for contributing to a world class Demand Planning organization. You will engage cross functionally with the Commercial, Finance, Technology, Inventory Management, and Fulfillment Operations teams to ensure an integrated process of forecast planning for the business.

Requirements

  • Biases toward processes, metrics, and continuous improvement; inquisitive with a passion for learning, growing, and understanding the WHY through analysis of data.
  • Adeptly melds data and intuition when developing and presenting solutions and plans.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and business insight, with the ability to work accurately, pay close attention to detail, and actively listen.
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively - monthly presentations are part of the role so being comfortable speaking to a large group of cross-functional partners is a plus.
  • A resilient, focused problem solver and self-starter, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a complex, occasionally ambiguous environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, mathematics, business, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of progressive relevant demand planning experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manager or higher-level role.
  • 3+ years of experience working in direct relations with key accounts.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Oracle or similar planning applications.
  • Proficient in advanced forecasting concepts, principles, and standard methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred knowledge of demand forecasting systems and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

  • Support team of demand planners to improve forecast accuracy at the account level, with experience addressing the outstanding market challenges.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with sales teams and key accounts to drive improved engagement and communication, tailoring strategies to improve forecast accuracy across categories.
  • Collaborate on development of critical metrics and dashboards to monitor, analyze, and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Continuously improve forecasting processes and systems to address the complexities of supply chains.
  • Support continued enhancements of S&OP and Demand review process.
  • Collaborate with supply planning to ensure timely delivery of new products and replenishment orders, effectively managing inventory levels aligned with sales plans for various channels.
  • Identify areas of risk and opportunity for the business, by driving insights into actions while working to reconcile forecasts and clearly communicating issues.
