As the Demand Planning Lead, you will provide experience and mentorship to team members on fast-paced and challenging emerging engineering programs supported within SIC at Rita Rd. The Demand Planning Lead will provide training to team members, inventory control process execution and improvement, proactive escalation of material constraints, cross functional engagement to ensure alignment in support of key deliverables, and execution of strong Production Control skillsets in support of assigned value streams.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum five (5) years' experience.
  • Experience with Production Control, Inventory, and or Supply Chain.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) knowledge and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated experience using PRISM SAP and analytical skills to drive results.
  • Knowledge of Production Control: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Depot, Inventory Management
  • Ability to develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Experience in Cross Functional support- Quality, Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain
  • Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
  • Experience with Six Sigma/Lean/CORE processes, tools, and applications

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate material availability, identifying potential gaps and proactively work material problems, to support kitting and delivery schedules
  • Working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizing data-driven decision making to enable effective material forecasting.
  • Interact with and collaborate with Factory Operations Team, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and Engineering on a regular and frequent basis.
  • Successful daily interaction with cross functional teams, programs, and business units to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Leveraging strong interpersonal skills to provide training and drive process improvement and optimization in coordination with the manager
  • Utilize KPIs to help you and the team drive action and results.
  • Drive improvements to training and team building with manager support to create high functioning teams
