About The Position

The Demand Planning Intern will support the Demand Planning team in maintaining accurate SKU-level data and assisting with projects that improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency. This role offers exposure to Sales & Operations Planning (SIOP), demand forecasting processes, and data analytics within a leading manufacturing organization.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
• Comfortable working with large datasets and learning new systems quickly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• experience with data visualization tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Update SKU-level data in Gains (our demand planning system) to ensure accuracy and timeliness of forecasts.
• Validate and reconcile data inputs from multiple sources to maintain system integrity.
• Assist in monitoring forecast accuracy and identifying variances.
• Support projects focused on tracking product mix, total volume, and other key demand metrics.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Planning, Marketing, Sales) to gather insights and improve forecast quality.
