Lead Purchasing Analysts to ensure accuracy in forecasts and performance. Champion a culture that motivates the Purchasing team to improve supply chain outcomes and to provide high-quality customer service. Ensure completion and proper execution of work procedures. Accountable for supervisory functions of the assigned region Responsible for planning and purchasing inventory for multiple suppliers, to support multi-tiered distribution network and manage relationships with suppliers while leading the Purchasing Analysts within the region Develop team through quality performance management and development plans in order to create adequate succession plans for Purchasing Supervisors and Analysts Translate the detailed marketing, sales, and corporate forecasts in order to maintain adequate inventory levels that are balanced according to service level outcomes Proactively monitor inventory health and surplus/deficit to identify systemic issues Create and implement action plans with tactical partners for short term answers, while partnering with optimization team to develop long term solutions Other duties as assigned
