About The Position

Located in SW Cedar Rapids, ACP, Inc. is a division of Welbilt, an Ali Group Company, and since 1969, has been a leader in manufacturing and designing commercial high-speed and microwave ovens used in some of your favorite restaurants.

We are seeking a Demand Planner to join our supply chain team. Will focus on analyzing historical sales data and trends to create accurate, actionable demand forecasts to fulfill customer needs; while optimizing financial costs, inventory levels, and managing product lifecycles to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years related experience desired, which can be a combination of education and experience. Production or material planning experience in a manufacturing environment preferable.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Material (BOM).
• Strong numerical proficiency and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, MS Access and Power Point helpful, in order to support website interface and maintenance, but not required (marketing resources also available for training).

Responsibilities

• Effectively develop and maintain statistical, rolling 12-month and item-level forecasts.
• Issue daily production orders as required.
• Ensure inventory optimization by establishing reorder points and safety stock levels to minimize holding costs while maximizing product availability at multiple warehouse locations.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other areas of the business to prioritize customer needs.
• Ensure accurate and updated data and information relative to ERP system (calendars, pricing, routings, BOM structure and part specifications).
• Monitor engineering changes for new items, last time buys or obsolete parts.
• Maintain and update service parts website.
