About The Position

The Delivery Technician will work in the warehouse fulfilling customer’s orders, as well as making deliveries to customer’s homes in an accurate and timely manner. Including delivery, must be able to set up equipment, adjust equipment to customer needs, instruct customer on the proper and safe use of the equipment and ensure paperwork is signed /filled out accurately. Strong customer service skills are essential, as well as communicating with diverse populations of customers. Also responsible for checking delivery vehicle to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order, as well as reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations and/or damages to the vehicles. May be required to work an occasional Saturday. On-call rotation (7 days) is required every 8-10 weeks.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be 21 years of age to meet auto insurance requirements.
Driver history must comply with Sanford Health’s driver qualification standards for insurability.
Current valid driver’s license and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.

Nice To Haves

Previous delivery experience or customer service experience preferred.
