About The Position

The Delivery Technician I is responsible for transporting, repairing, assembling, and distributing medical supplies and equipment to patients. This role also involves providing training to employees on fire prevention, chemical safety, and equipment, ensuring and maintaining complete paperwork, and performing after-hour coverage. The position is with AHS Investment Corporation (AHSIC), a wholly owned for-profit subsidiary of Atlantic Health System (AHS). Atlantic Health System is a large healthcare system with over 18,000 team members and 4,800 affiliated physicians, offering more than 400 sites of care and specializing in various medical fields. AHSIC operates several business units including AtHome Medical, Atlantic Private Care Services, Real Estate Division, MSO, Eagle Ambulance, Joint Ventures, and AHa! Innovation Center.

Responsibilities

• Maintains paperwork and entry data for service records and billing accurately and timely.
• Establishes, configure, test, and deliver new and used imaging equipment to patients.
• Aids in inventory management by documenting patient equipment, specialty items, and supply orders.
• Performs delivery log of activities, including checking and logging recipient identification, in adherence with policy and procedure.
• Assists pharmacy management with the current status and problems.
• Maintains and documents all inventory appropriately and timely.
• Ensures a high level of service on both time and response quality.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
