About The Position

As a Delivery Manager at IT Corporate, you will have a key role in coaching the teams in delivering stable, modern, and future-proof solutions covering the whole product life cycle within the reserve management processes at If. This means an overall responsibility delivering the core reserve setting capabilities for both annuity and non-annuity actuarial processes. You will have the responsibility, together with product owners, to ensure that the deliveries are sufficiently planned, completed on time, within budget, as well as ensuring that they meet the stakeholder's requirements. The Delivery Manager role is combined with a Scrum Master role for one of the teams maintaining the Common Actuarial Systems. Your role will be to keep track of team health, coach the team, facilitate agile ceremonies, handling dependencies, and impediments, according to our agile framework. The delivery area consists of two delivery teams (Common Actuarial Systemâ and Annuity Calculator) distributed between Bergshamra and Riga. We are ten (10) engineers in various seniority levels, four located in Bergshamra and six in Riga. The teams work in close collaboration with the product owners, business analyst, domain solution architect and technical sponsor. Actuarial processes also include some mainframe solutions which need maintenance support until a complete decommission. Most solutions are built on Microsoft technology such as Azure, .Net, SQL, SSIS etc. CAS team is practicing DevOps approach, applies latest technology such as Blazor and PaaS Azure Cloud model. Together with the team you have the freedom to experiment with new technologies and architecture.

Requirements

• experience from a similar role as delivery manager, scrum master, team lead or project/technical project manager in an IT organization
• great leadership and communication skills
• can motivate others and helping them to become the very best version of themselves
• Experience from working in and/or leading in an agile context
• A background in engineering to be able to understand the technology and platforms
• Fluent in Swedish and English
