About The Position

The Customer Service Position is an entry-level role with numerous opportunities for advancement within Domino's. Training and orientation are provided on the job. Employees are paid hourly at a minimum and maximum rate of $14.70. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance are available to employees who have worked at least a year and average at least 32 hours per week. The company abides by OR State requirements for sick pay. All scheduled hours are based on employee availability and store needs, with positions being part-time unless otherwise stated. Employees have the opportunity to transition to full-time if store hours accommodate and they complete training, are reliable, and communicate their full-time needs to management. Many team members have advanced from delivery drivers to successful Domino's franchise owners, with career paths including assistant manager, general manager, and Manager Corporate Operations. Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to communicate and interact respectfully and effectively with people across cultures, abilities, genders, ethnicities, and races.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
  • Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgements and decisions.
  • Eye-hand coordination is essential.
  • Continuous use of hands during the day.
  • Frequent activities require use of one or both hands.
  • Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists.
  • Ability to manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter.
  • Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
  • Ability to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
