The Digital & Technology PGS Creation Center Team enables Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) to win the digital race in pharma and provides innovative digital solutions that unleashes the power of our people by allowing them to focus their time on value-add activities. Our solutions accelerate key PGS initiatives and help PGS sites realize benefits of continuous improvement more rapidly. Solution Design & Adoption is a multidisciplinary team inclusive of User Research, Design Strategy, Product Design and Design Systems, Trainings, Communications and Change Management, of our digital PGS solutions. Our mission is to deliver measurable value through end-to-end design and adoption capabilities, ensuring high usability, stakeholder alignment, and effective adoption to both the Digital PGS and PGS end users. The Delivery Excellence Lead will report to the Digital PGS Solution Design & Adoption Lead and be accountable for developing strategies associated with identifying opportunities to invest/scale, sustain, consolidate, or retire digital applications within the digital PGS application portfolio, based on defined KPIs. The Delivery Excellence Lead will operate as a matrixed leader to lead a team of colleagues and vendor resources, and be a member of the Solution Design & Adoption leadership team. This role will lead complex, cross-functional programs that streamline digital delivery processes, enhance operational discipline, and deliver measurable business value. Your leadership will empower teams to innovate, optimize, and execute with excellence in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience in digital transformation, solution delivery, or business analysis or Master's degree and 7+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years leading in agile frameworks, including SAFe and Lean Portfolio Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a large project portfolio including resource management across multiple cross-functional teams with measurable business impact
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, negotiate, consult, and educate key cross-functional stakeholders on project and change management best practices
  • Ability to prioritize cross functional team(s) workload, budget, demand management with business needs
  • Ability to think strategically and provide long and short-term project management recommendations and solutions that can flex and scale with rapid growth
  • Proven experience in stakeholder communications and in influencing cross-functional leadership at all levels of the organization
  • Proven exposure and basic proficiency with Google Suite applications, Cloud Technologies, and Project Management Systems (i.e. Jira, Monday, Smartsheets, SharePoint)
  • This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Application Landscape Governance
  • Define the data requirements, data maintenance and governance to required to maintain a capability based Digital PGS application portfolio landscape
  • Partner with SD&A and application owner counterparts to map digital PGS applications to user personas, processes, capabilities, spend, etc.
  • Define KPIs required to determine digital application performance to be used to make application portfolio decisions including invest/scale, sustain, consolidate, or retire
  • Proactively present digital PGS application portfolio opportunities to digital PGS LT and solution teams
  • Liaise with Digital PGS Solution/Application Owners to ensure application enhancements requirements are met within core system roadmaps
  • Develop and execute strategies to consolidate business processes, reduce legacy systems, and drive digital transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with digital PGS LT to communicate opportunities for PGS applications to scale.
  • Drive transparency through building and maintaining metrics and reporting dashboards.
  • Define and distribute executive level reporting on digital PGS application Portfolio objectives and status
  • Scaled Agile Delivery
  • Serve as the Digital PGS Agile Lead (Coach), improves Agile processes, documentation, training, and knowledge capitalization
  • Define and execute the Agile and SAFe delivery strategy for large-scale programs, facilitate adoption and scale Agile ways of working across Digital PGS by reviewing existing processes to enhance effectiveness
  • Challenge the status quo and lead with a platform approach to digital PGS application portfolio
  • Lead initiation, planning, and execution of large-scale projects across the digital PGS creation center
  • Leads Agile best practices and ensures alignment with PGS business objectives.
  • Orchestrates delivery across multiple Agile teams.
  • Facilitate PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  • Mentor Product Managers, RTEs, and Scrum Masters on SAFe practices. amplifying standards associated with repeatable processes such as site analysis and business case development.
  • Program & Project Management
  • Oversee large-scale, complex projects from business case development through deployment and value realization.
  • Manage program plans, budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement best practices for Agile maturity and operational excellence.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize delivery processes and reduce lead times.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, solution owners, and site personnel, to gather requirements, assess impacts, and ensure consensus.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and lifecycle plans to global stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, coaching, and professional development across diverse teams.
  • Operational Excellence & Compliance
  • Ensure solutions meet quality, compliance, and GMP requirements.
