About The Position

Our Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for the Monday through Friday delivery of all cannabis and dispensary intended merchandise. The Driver will be responsible for safely and securely transporting all packages to their destination while maintaining the highest level of professional behaviors. In addition, the Driver will be responsible for collecting payment(s), communicating payment methods, and closing out of daily delivery tasks with the Assistant General Manager.

Requirements

  • For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
  • You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
  • We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.
  • We ask that you have a clean driving record.
  • We ask that you have a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience.
  • Willing and able to work after normal business hours as it pertains to longer delivery routes.
  • We ask that you do not have allergies to plant materials or nitrile gloves; this position requires daily exposure to cannabis plants and nitrile gloves.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily visual inspections of the facility's transportation vehicle.
  • Operate vehicle in a safe and secure manner.
  • Responsible for following all standard operating procedures (SOP) operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information, and policies when performing duties.
  • Verify accuracy of METRC manifest and load all deliveries according to stop location into vehicle daily.
  • Follow all safety protocol while on site and abide by the road safety protocol while on routes.
  • Unload and deliver all product boxes and abide by customers protocols while on site at their location.
  • Collect payments, verify payment method, and communicate with the Assistant General Manager.
  • Maintain up to date accurate data petty cash logs and a clean and organized work vehicle.
  • Maintain vehicle maintenance schedule to include oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, etc.
  • Complete all daily duties on time and willing to accept additional job duties and responsibilities.
  • Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers about daily production output.
  • Flex to other departments to assist as needed and allowed within the production schedule.
  • Must be comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures from 55°-85°.
  • All other duties as necessary.
