Delivery Driver - Warehouse Associate

About The Position

This is an important hands-on role where you will be key to giving Locke Supply’s internal and external customers an outstanding experience. You will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse operations, including material handling which involves stocking and picking product, with extreme attention to detail and a sense of urgency. In this role, you will also be driving powered equipment such as Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and Turret trucks, and handling various other warehouse tasks. Locke Supply Co. is a growing, employee-owned distributor for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC parts and equipment based in Oklahoma City. The company's history dates back to 1955 and it has since grown to over 190 store locations across a 6-state area, supported by a 100-acre distribution center. Locke Supply is an ESOP Company, meaning it is 100% Employee Owned, and serves as a premium supplier in the Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC markets throughout the Southwest.

Requirements

Warehouse Experience, minimum 1-year combined experience
Delivery Driving experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to do basic math (Addition, subtraction, division and multiplication)
Comfortable with operating powered equipment (including forklifts, cherry pickers, etc.)
Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
Critical Thinking
Desire to develop
Team Oriented
Ability to cross train in different tasks and flexible to learn new departments
Able to take direction
Understanding of the importance of their role and the value it brings to the company
Ability to use and work on a computer and wrist mount systems
Must be able to pass a post-offer, physical job duty test through WorkSTEPS
Must be able to pass a DOT physical
