The Delivery Assistant role involves assisting with the loading, unloading, and safe transport of appliances, delivering them to residential and job sites, and supporting basic installation tasks. This position also includes maintaining delivery vehicles and equipment and assisting with warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • Ability to safely lift and move appliances (50–100 lbs with assistance).
  • Strong work ethic and reliability in a team-based, fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Commitment to safety and following established procedures.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in delivery, warehouse, or physically demanding work (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with loading, unloading, and securing appliances for safe transport.
  • Deliver appliances to residential and job site locations on scheduled routes.
  • Safely move and place appliances inside homes using proper equipment and techniques.
  • Support basic installation tasks (e.g., cords, minor adjustments) as needed.
  • Navigate routes and assist the driver with situational awareness and safety.
  • Provide professional, courteous customer interactions in the field.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery trucks and equipment.
  • Support warehouse operations as needed (inventory, staging, organization).
