About The Position

Founded in 1967, ImageFIRST is the largest healthcare linen rental and laundry services provider to medical facilities throughout the continental United States and Puerto Rico, with a specialty in serving the healthcare market. The Delivery Advocate is responsible for delivering products to and from clients, maintaining positive communication with all employees and client contacts, and operating company equipment safely and responsibly. This role involves ensuring complete loads are delivered, trucks are cleaned and sanitized, and timely communication regarding truck maintenance. The advocate will also manage delivery paperwork, attend team meetings, promote company values, identify sales opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction by resolving concerns and developing positive relationships.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of experience within sales or a route sales role
Must possess a professional appearance
Must be able to consistently lift 35 pounds
Must be able to drive a commercial motor vehicle for up to 10 hours on a daily basis
Must possess a minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have an excellent driving record
Must be able to obtain a C Class Driver's License
Must possess exceptional customer service skills
Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
Practical insight specific to the textile services industry and operations
Identify problem/root causes and develops alternative courses of action and makes decisions that are based on logic assumptions which reflect factual information
Excellent oral, written, phone and face to face communication skills with associates, customers and managers

Responsibilities

Deliver products to and from our clients as required
Create a positive moment with every interaction by maintaining positive communication with all employees at your location and all client contacts
Operate company equipment safely and responsibly, comply with applicable rules and regulations relating to safety and operation of commercial motor vehicles
Work with your local team to facilitate all clients needs
Ensure complete load is loaded in accordance with delivery manifest
Ensure all product is removed from truck and truck is cleaned and sanitized
Timely communication of repairs, PM, accidents
Ensure delivery manifest is signed and recorded in accordance with our client’s expectations
Attend team meetings as required

Look for opportunities to add product at clients and relay any sales information back to your local team
Identify and resolve customer concerns, ensure customer satisfaction with deliveries, develop positive relationships with principal customer contacts, maintain enthusiastic and professional attitude and maximize customer contract term
