City Market Co-Op is seeking Deli Service Staff to assist our Prepared Foods Department in crafting many of our popular offerings! Requirements

Six months of cooking or food service experience OR one year of customer service experience required OR a demonstrated willingness to learn.
High School diploma or GED preferred.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.

Responsibilities

Assisting in preparation, stocking and cleaning of all food display and production stations.
Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, vendors, co-workers, and community.
Gathering ingredients from storage or from other departments as necessary.
Assisting with receiving and stocking new products when needed.
Ensuring that finished products are tasty, fresh and attractive.
Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
