The Deli Purchasing Coordinator purchases, processes returns, prices, processes special orders and merchandises designated products. They receive and ensure proper storage, rotation, stocking, preparation, and displaying of products in accordance with established practices, priorities and recipes. Deli Purchasing Coordinators ensure proper supply of raw materials for kitchen production in keeping with production schedules. They provide daily leadership to employees and train staff in compliance with WFC policies and practices. Deli Purchasing Coordinators also work with department management to set priorities and pars, and assist the department manager in coordinating department operations to meet goals for sales, margin, labor expense and customer service.
