The Deli Manager role is a leadership position responsible for ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience for customers, overseeing a small team of associates, and managing vendor deliveries. The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, ensuring team safety, and clear communication to ensure productive and fun shifts. The manager will also personalize customer experiences by learning their names and favorite items, and provide seamless service for pre-made dinners, fresh broasted or fried chicken, and fresh deli items.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Able to stand, bend, and reach
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to communicate and build relationships
Detail-oriented
Appreciation for routines

Responsibilities

Ensure customers have an enjoyable shopping experience during their visit and meal ordering
Ensure all vendor deliveries are accurate and meet standard of quality
Oversee a small team of associates through mentorship, delegation, and internal development
Lead and coach the team
Ensure safety of teammates
Maintain clear communication for productive and fun shifts
Personalize the customer experience by learning names and favorite items
Provide seamless experience for customers ordering pre-made dinners, fresh broasted or fried chicken, and fresh deli items
