The Deli/Lead Clerk is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and achieving sales and profit goals for the Deli department. This role involves monitoring quality assurance standards, directing and supervising all functions and activities within the Deli department, and supporting its day-to-day operations. The clerk is expected to embrace the Customer 1st strategy, encourage excellent customer service from associates, and demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
