The Lead Deli Clerk position primarily involves overseeing the Deli Department when the Department Manager is absent. This role ensures that the Kitchen & Deli adhere to company merchandising standards, are fully stocked, and are appealing to guests. The individual is responsible for consistently delivering exceptional guest service, providing strong leadership to the Deli staff, maintaining superior quality and freshness of all salad and sliced meat products, educating and assisting guests at the kitchen and deli counter, creating a fun and friendly atmosphere to attract guests, actively engaging guests through product samples and suggestive selling, and understanding all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
