Responsible for performing Deli Dishwasher services per the Deli guidelines and per the direction of the Deli Manager and Evening Deli Manager. Must be able to promote Mackenthun's Exceptional Experience in taking initiative to perform tasks, by working cooperatively with co-workers, greeting customers, offering assistance to customers, and answering customer questions. Dishwashing: Clean and sanitize dishes, glasses, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment. Ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and free of debris, grease, or residue. Sort, stack, and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas. Waste Management: Remove waste from the kitchen and dispose of it properly, including recycling items when applicable. (age restrictions may apply) Maintain cleanliness of trash areas and assist in organizing waste collection. Safety & Hygiene: Follow food safety regulations and procedures, including safe handling and storage of kitchenware. Adhere to proper sanitation and safety standards. Report any kitchen hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately. Team Collaboration: Work closely with chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Communicate effectively with team members to prioritize tasks. Wipe down the glass windows, salad bar, and hot bar. Other duties as assigned.
