About The Position

We are in search of an evening Dishwasher to join our creative kitchen and deli team at our World Foods location. Our ideal team member: Is a team player Has a high attention to detail Is dependable and can commit to a regular, consistent schedule Kitchen or dishwashing experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate This position offers training and growth opportunities for other positions in the deli and/or store as desired Note: this position will regularly be required to stand up for entire shift and frequently lift up to 50 lbs OUR HISTORY World Foods is a family-owned specialty market in Portland bringing to life the passion for the best foods from near and far. Requirements

• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Can stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts
• Is able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of daily responsibilities
• Works effectively as part of a team and supports coworkers when needed
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and follows sanitation standards
• Is able to follow instructions and established procedures
• Manages time effectively to keep up with workflow demands
• Is willing to learn, adapt, and take direction
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area

Nice To Haves

• Kitchen or dishwashing experience is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience as a dishwasher in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred
