There may be an opening that we have not posted yet. We are looking for a DELI COOK ASSOCIATE to join our Rowe's team. This position prepares hot and cold deli food, as well as catering and delivery orders. Promotes customer service by taking and filling customer order requests and maintaining attractive product presentation and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
• Ability to read, write, and do simple math.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well with others and work well as a team
• A passion for serving others

Nice To Haves

• Food Prep experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service including greeting customers and answering questions, with a positive attitude.
• Prepare hot food.
• May operate a slicer, hot oven, fryer, microwave, cutting tools, scale, and other Deli equipment.
• Ensures food handling and food safety procedures are adhered to. Stocks, rotates, and monitors product temperatures before and after cooking
• Maintain excellent standards of sanitation and freshness
• Assists in other duties as assigned.
• Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store.
