About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide prompt, hospitable service to our guests in a counter service restaurant setting. Assist in the preparation of food and cleanliness of the outlet. Deliver a lasting experience for our guests ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operate computerized cash register accurately and efficiently. Maintain a neat and clean environment throughout work/guest areas. Prepare and portion food orders prior to and during service period. Adhere to proper sanitation of kitchen facilities and equipment and handling and preparation of food in accordance with local and state health codes. Safe use of all kitchen equipment ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate(s) or License(s): Food Handlers Card and Smart Serv alcohol (we supply if not applicable)
  • Years of experience: 0
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.
  • Regularly walks, stands, and does computer w ork.
  • Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
