About The Position

The Deli/Asst Dept Leader is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, establishing and maintaining a safe, clean environment, achieving sales and profit goals, and controlling quality assurance standards within the Deli department. This role also involves monitoring all functions, duties, and activities related to the department and demonstrating the company's core values. Fred Meyer, based in Portland, Oregon, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and serves customers in over 120 stores across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska.
