We're hiring a DeFi Ecosystem Lead to help scale Paxos Labs's product suite growth within onchain ecosystems and drive strategy and stakeholder engagement with our DeFi stakeholders. We are open to candidates of varying levels of experience for this role. We are looking for a motivated operator who possesses a deep understanding of the DeFi landscape, a proven track record in building strategic partnerships with the most prominent DeFi protocols, and the capabilities to identify new opportunities in the market and inform company strategy around them. We are looking for someone energized by the following types of work: Coordinating stakeholders in the DeFi ecosystem to enable novel product initiatives Exploring new ecosystems and partners to drive growth of deployed products Collaborating with the sales function to integrate DeFi within enterprises This role is ideal for a self-starter with excellent communication skills (especially to enterprises unfamiliar with DeFi), capable of navigating a complex mix of technical and business challenges to expand Paxos Labs' presence and impact within the DeFi ecosystem.

Requirements

DeFi Expertise: Deep understanding of major DeFi protocols, their architectures, and underlying mechanisms (e.g., lending/borrowing, AMMs, stablecoins, derivatives).
Technical Communication Acumen: Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Partnership Experience: Proven experience in identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships in the blockchain or fintech industries.
Product Growth: Experience in driving user acquisition and growth for digital products, preferably in the crypto or DeFi space.
Data Analysis: Ability to analyze market data, user metrics, and on-chain activity to inform decision-making.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies for ecosystem growth and product expansion.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building trust and rapport with external partners.
Self-Motivated: Proactive and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Adaptability: Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry.
Problem-Solver: Creative and analytical approach to overcoming challenges.

Responsibilities

Strategic Integrations: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize DeFi protocols for integration with existing and new Paxos Labs products.
Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the DeFi ecosystem, including protocol teams, developers, and community leaders.
Product Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive user adoption and growth for Paxos Labs' existing DeFi-focused products.
Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of the latest trends, developments, and competitive landscape within the DeFi space, providing insights to inform product strategy.
Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure seamless technical integrations and a positive developer experience.
Community Engagement: Represent Paxos Labs at industry events, conferences, and online forums to foster community engagement and showcase our product suite.
Stakeholder Education: Provide support across the GTM team around educating and breaking down the complexities of DeFi in a manner that resonates with the enterprise audience
