About The Position

Join a company building technology that makes decentralized markets safer and more accessible. Our advanced risk management systems, oracles, and AI models secure billions in value and are trusted by leading protocols like Aave, GMX, dYdX, Venus, and Jupiter. Reporting directly to the Lending Lead, we are looking for a talented DeFi Analyst to join our team and help shape the future of decentralized finance by delivering crucial insights and strategic recommendations to our customers. The DeFi Analyst will leverage our simulation platform and quantitative methodologies to analyze complex datasets, model protocol risks, and provide actionable insights that directly impact market safety and capital efficiency.

Requirements

2+ years of professional experience in the web3/crypto industry.
Demonstrated experience in modeling or analyzing Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocols and a desire to fully integrate into the ecosystem.
Excellent SQL knowledge for data querying and analysis.
Proficient in Python coding for scripting, data manipulation, and analysis.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and lead various analytical projects to completion.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English, for report writing and stakeholder presentations.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for DeFi and blockchain technology.

Nice To Haves

Experience with smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and/or DeFi projects.
Familiarity with profiling tools and performance optimization techniques.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or an equivalent technical field.

Responsibilities

Deliver strategic insights and risk recommendations to our customers, utilizing our proprietary methodologies and custom simulation platform.
Analyze complex on-chain and financial datasets, apply statistical techniques, and translate data into valuable, ongoing reports.
Create and present clear, compelling data visualizations for both internal teams and external stakeholders (clients and the broader community).
Collaborate closely with cross-functional research and engineering teams to ensure high-quality, impactful outputs.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of our platform and analytical methodologies.
