About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for a Defense Procurement Financial Analyst (PFA) Manager located in Hazelwood, MO. As a part of the Defense PFA team, you would support the negotiation positions for the procurement of goods and services by conducting cost/price analysis of supplier proposals. PFAs provide support for the U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sale (FMS), and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) type contracts across multiple programs and platforms. Quantitative and statistical methods are used to correlate, compile and analyze supplier cost and non-cost data. This position is responsible for leading a team of professionals in performing cost/price analysis of several of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government major suppliers. This position will also support the Phantom Works Division on proprietary work and therefore the candidate will need an Active Secret Security clearance for this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience in management and/or informal leadership
  • This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Manage a team of cost/price analysis professionals
  • Develop and motivate employees
  • Develop and maintain relationships/partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes for complex cost/price analyses
  • Provide oversight and direct support of supplier and customer negotiations
  • Lead process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements
  • Provide support for travel if needed
