About The Position

The Default Business Process Analyst leads end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives—from initial scoping and requirements definition through solution design, testing, deployment, and post-launch stabilization. This role translates business strategy into actionable execution plans with clear milestones, risk management, and measurable success criteria.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4–7+ years in implementation, consulting, program/project management, or operations transformation (or equivalent experience).
  • 4-7 years of default servicing experience with specific concentrations withing lossmitigation and foreclosure.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with requirements gathering, process mapping, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; adept at driving alignment and decisions among diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with common delivery frameworks (Agile/Iterative/Hybrid), change management practices, and UAT coordination.
  • Proficiency with project/portfolio tools (e.g., Jira/Azure DevOps/Asana), documentation (Confluence/SharePoint), and data tools (Excel/Power BI).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Exposure to risk/control frameworks and regulatory environments.
  • Vendor implementation and integration experience (APIs, data migration, testing strategies).

Responsibilities

  • Own the implementation lifecycle (scoping, requirements, solution design, testing, deployment, and stabilization) for one or more concurrent initiatives.
  • Translate strategy into an executable plan with clear milestones, dependencies, risks, and success metrics (KPIs/OKRs).
  • Implement feedback loops and continuous improvement cycles post go-live; measure ROI and operational outcomes.
  • Serve as the single-threaded owner for assigned implementations—escalate early, remove blockers, and drive to decision.
  • Maintain rigorous scope control and change control; balance speed and risk with a pragmatic delivery approach.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment among Business Owners, Operations, Product, Engineering, Risk/Compliance, Data, and Support.
  • Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements and user stories; work with technical teams to validate feasibility and solution design.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholder leaders; provide concise, executive-ready updates and recommendations.
  • Lead change management (communication plans, training, SOP updates, role impact analysis, adoption tracking) to ensure sustained results.
  • All other duties as assigned.
