Employees are required to work our normal business hours from 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. The Onsite Service Account Manager serves as a key liaison for members, customers, and providers by delivering expert guidance on UnitedHealthcare benefits, resolving claims and service inquiries, and supporting wellness initiatives at the worksite. Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 4+ years of direct client facing customer service experience and/or account management experience
  • Experience with Medical Insurance Terminology
  • Experience with communicating complex problem-solving scenarios with a client and internal stakeholder
  • Knowledge and understanding of claims processing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (general spreadsheet navigation, sorting and data entry), Microsoft Word (creating and editing documents), Microsoft PowerPoint (basic presentations) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar)
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the designated office location
  • Ability to travel up to 20%25 of the time within the city boundary of Melbourne
  • Ability to work daily onsite Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST at our office located at City Hall, 900 East Strawbridge Avenue, Melbourne, FL 32901

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers and / or providers
  • Serve as the liaison to a complex customer base to manage first level response and resolution of escalated issues with external and internal customers
  • Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
  • Investigate claim and / or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers
  • Provide feedback to team members regarding improvement opportunities
  • Work as a member of the client’s Benefits Team
