About the position

The Decision Support Analyst at Texas Children's Hospital plays a crucial role in supporting hospital management by collecting, analyzing, and organizing information for decision-making. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and assist in maintaining the EPSi Decision Support System, ensuring accurate financial reporting and cost accounting information.

Responsibilities

• Assists with maintenance of the EPSi Decision Support System.
• Performs daily maintenance, including posting of charge detail and payment and adjustment transactions.
• Performs monthly processing of the hospital general ledger details.
• Audits data for accuracy.
• Assists departments with understanding of decision support & cost accounting information.
• Assists with system upgrades.
• Assists with developing and updating department cost standards.
• Prepares monthly reports and ad hoc requests for information from the decision support system.
• Assists with special projects as requested.

Requirements

• Required bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or healthcare.
• Preferred master's degree in a related field.
• Required 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related business field.
• Master's degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience.
