What You’ll Do Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructions to understand part requirements Select the right tools, equipment, and methods to achieve required finishes and tolerances Operate a variety of deburring and finishing equipment , including lathes, tumbling equipment, microscopes, grinders, and hand tools Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications Identify and resolve issues by troubleshooting processes and making adjustments Apply techniques to repair or salvage complex assemblies when possible Maintain required operator certifications and safety standards Recommend improvements to tools, equipment, and processes to increase efficiency and quality Support teammates by sharing knowledge, answering questions, and helping train others
