About The Position

CMS is hiring Full-Time Debt Collections Representatives to join our growing team in Buffalo. In this role, you will work in a third-party collections environment, partnering with customers to resolve past-due accounts through respectful, compliant, and solution-focused conversations.
As a third-party agency, we represent a variety of clients, giving you exposure to different account types and helping you build valuable collections and negotiation skills.

Requirements

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Professional and confident phone presence
• Ability to remain empathetic, respectful, and compliant on every call
• Collections or call center experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls for third-party client accounts
• Work with customers to create realistic and manageable payment solutions
• Maintain strict compliance with FDCPA and all applicable regulations
• Accurately document account activity and payment arrangements
• Meet or exceed performance and quality goals
