About The Position

The Workforce Group a LEMOINE company, is seeking reliable individuals to join our team as Debris Monitors. Debris Monitors play a critical role in disaster recovery by verifying debris eligibility and ensuring accurate documentation. Field Monitors record the location of storm -related debris, while Tower/Debris Management Site (DMS) Monitors track the volume of debris collected at designated sites. This is a seasonal position activated during and after disaster response events. Assignments often require short -notice travel and may last from several days to over 30 days, depending on recovery needs. Shifts can extend up to 14 hours per day, 7 days a week. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
  • Reliable personal vehicle.
  • Ability to work long shifts (12–14 hours), including weekends.
  • Physically able to climb ladders or stairs up to 10 feet and lift/carry at least 50 lbs.
  • Possess a working cell phone with a car charger.

Responsibilities

  • Report punctually to the assigned location and await instructions.
  • Observe and monitor the loading of storm debris by trucks, bobcats, and front -end loaders.
  • Ensure only eligible storm debris from public rights -of -way or designated property is collected.
  • Confirm that all eligible debris is removed and that driveways and roadways are cleared before equipment moves to the next location.
  • Accurately complete and submit Load Tickets and required documentation.
  • Report any property damage caused by contractors during debris removal.
  • Maintain a courteous, respectful, and professional demeanor when interacting with residents, contractors, officials, and team members.
  • Perform other job -related duties as assigned.
