About The Position

Volkert is employee owned and a Top 100 design firm, committed to providing clients with creative solutions for sustainability, including improvements to infrastructure, the environment, and natural resources. Founded in 1925, Volkert is celebrating a century of serving our employees, clients, partners, and communities. We are preparing to hire debris monitors throughout southwestern Tennessee to aid in the cleanup of damage caused by Winter Storm Fern. The schedule for this position will be 7 days/week, 12 hours/day. Paychecks will be issued bi-weekly. Exact location(s) and pay rate will be determined as the storm damage is assessed. This is a temporary assignment. No experience is required, training will be provided to you.

Requirements

Valid driver's license (not suspended), MVR must be cleared before you can begin work
Cell phone to be contacted throughout assignment
Reliable transportation for driving to various locations
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic math skills - measurements (weight, volume, and distance)
Attention to detail
Ability to speak and read English fluently
Ability to use handheld electronic devices (digital camera, GPS unit) with minimal oversight
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines.
Valid driver's license.
A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
