About The Position

Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a Dean of Students to join our dedicated team in Plymouth, NH. This is a full-time leadership position focused on student success , academic administration , and school operations . The Dean of Students plays a critical role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment while leading faculty development and program improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, master's preferred .
• Minimum 5 years of experience in education or human services .
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role .
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Special Education services and academic systems.
• Ability to inspire students and faculty daily.
• Must be 21+ years old , have reliable transportation, and meet safe driver guidelines.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day academic operations and maintain a secure learning environment.
• Coordinate school routines , including morning and afternoon transitions.
• Lead faculty training programs (ARC/TCI) and support professional development.
• Manage critical incidents , ensure accurate documentation, and maintain compliance.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to academic staff through bi-monthly meetings.
• Collaborate with leadership to set goals for program enhancement and improvement .
• Represent Mount Prospect Academy professionally with families and community partners.
• Participate in team meetings, school activities, and field trips.
• Ensure facilities are safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
