About The Position

The Dean of Enrollment Management will lead the integrated delivery of enrollment services including admissions outreach and recruitment, the campus visit experience, financial aid, registration, course scheduling, and student records. The Dean serves as a key Student Success Division leader charged with delivering service excellence and actively contributing to institution-wide enrollment, retention, persistence and completion efforts. The Dean oversees Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar staff, and the continued management and execution of Slate CRM ; and works collaboratively with Communications and Marketing, Academic Affairs, Athletics and other campus stakeholders to achieve the College’s enrollment goals. In addition, the Dean ensures compliance with FERPA regulations, related college policy and procedures, and state and federal laws. This leader will be expected to incorporate higher education best practices into the vision, strategy and practices of the departments. Position Overview Rhode Island College is seeking a strategic, forward‑thinking enrollment leader to join the institution at a pivotal moment of growth and momentum. As the College experiences renewed energy and strengthening enrollment outcomes, we invite a dynamic, results‑driven professional to serve as Dean of Enrollment Management . Reporting to the Vice President of Student Success , the Dean provides visionary leadership for all enrollment‑related functions, including Admissions, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, and the Registrar . This role leads the development and execution of an integrated, data‑informed Strategic Enrollment Management ( SEM ) plan that advances equitable access, student success, and institutional sustainability. The Dean of Enrollment Management will collaborate closely with academic and administrative partners across campus to build on recent progress, strengthen recruitment and retention pipelines, and enhance the student experience across the full enrollment lifecycle. Leveraging analytics, innovation, and a student‑centered mindset, the Dean plays a critical role in shaping the College’s next chapter—aligning enrollment strategy with the College’s mission and Strategic Compass .

Requirements

• Master’s degree is required.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible leadership in admissions and enrollment management.
• A record of accomplishment leading teams to meet and exceed enrollment and retention goals.
• Experience in financial aid modeling and strategies, budgetary and personnel responsibilities, strategic planning, data management, and program development.

• Bilingual in English / Spanish (fluent in speaking and writing).
• Willingness to learn and implement new technologies and implement software integrations and migration as needed.
