The Opportunity As a Deals - Technology and Data Solutions Intern, you will engage in data analysis and financial data mining to uncover insights and trends that drive decision-making for our clients. This role offers a unique chance to work with a diverse range of data analytics tools and methodologies, providing valuable support to our client-facing teams. You will be involved in data modeling, risk analysis, and the preparation of reports that inform strategic business decisions. Requirements
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application.
- Winter internships typically occur during the spring semester preceding the student's final year of school
- Summer internships typically take place during the summer preceding the student's final year of school

- Preference for one of the following field(s) of study: Management Information Systems, Data Processing/Analytics/Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Finance and Technology
- Preference for a 3.3 overall GPA
- Demonstrating proficiency in Python programming for data analysis
- Utilizing Power BI and Tableau for data visualization projects

Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in conducting complex data analysis and generating data-driven insights
- Participating in the development and implementation of data models and algorithms to enhance analytical capabilities
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI for effective data visualization
- Conducting research and gathering information to support analytic research and customer analysis initiatives
- Utilizing Python and Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools for data preprocessing and validation tasks
- Engaging in predictive analytics and machine learning projects to forecast trends and outcomes
- Collaborating with team members to integrate data from various sources and ensure data quality
- Applying business data analytics techniques to identify opportunities for process improvement and decision-making support
- Learning and applying data security measures to protect sensitive information and maintain data integrity
