About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Dealership Parts Manager with a strong background in automotive dealership parts operations . This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands dealership workflows, inventory management, wholesale and retail parts sales, and delivering excellent internal and external customer service. The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dealership’s parts department, including inventory control, staff leadership, vendor coordination, and supporting the service and sales departments. Requirements

  • This position is performed ON-SITE and you must be able to commute to the Dealership
  • Previous automotive dealership experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a dealership parts and/or service department
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and dealership operations
  • Experience with dealership parts and inventory software systems
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • Retail and wholesale parts experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day Parts Department operations
  • Oversee the full parts sales process for retail, wholesale, and internal service needs
  • Order, receive, stock, and manage parts inventory
  • Source and locate parts not currently in inventory
  • Process and track special-order parts and communicate status updates to customers and staff
  • Support technicians and service advisors with accurate parts identification and fulfillment
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts
  • Ensure compliance with dealership, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise parts department staff
  • Establish department goals, manage budgets, and support growth initiatives
  • Develop and maintain wholesale parts accounts
  • Act as liaison with manufacturer representatives and stay current on warranty and policy updates
  • Enforce company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
