About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation, a premier casino entertainment company, is seeking enthusiastic individuals for a Table Games Dealer Trainee position at the Diamond Jo Casino. This is an excellent opportunity to start an exciting career in the casino industry by attending a free Dealer School Program. The school will teach candidates how to deal Blackjack and is generally 2-3 weeks long, running Monday-Thursday. School times and days will be scheduled based on the best availability for qualified candidates. While dealer school classes are unpaid, a sign-on bonus is offered. There may also be opportunities to work in other departments during the school period if immediate work is needed. The casino is looking for both Full Time (40hrs) and Part Time (20-30hrs) candidates. Dealers have an earning potential of $25+ per hour, including tips from guests.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age with reliable transportation
No experience is necessary
Must be able to pass a timed, basic math test (addition/subtraction/multiplication)
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Gaming License
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to see, hear, speak English, grasp, reach and bend
Must be able to quickly and accurately perform basic mathematical functions and calculate payouts mentally
Must be able to work in a loud, smoky environment with flashing lights
